Terberg Environmental (TE), a leading provider of waste and recycling equipment, and Imdaad, a Dubai-based group of companies that provides integrated, sustainable Facilities Management (FM) services that enhance operational efficiencies of physical assets, signed a 2022 Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that will further strengthen the relationship between the two organizations in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. Terberg’s local subsidiary in Dubai, Terberg RosRoca Vehicle Manufacturing LLC (TRRVM), will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the enhanced relationship that will further benefit and improve the service level provided to local municipalities.
The signing ceremony took place on the Terberg Environmental (TE) exhibition stand at IFAT 2022 in Munich and was witnessed by both Pierangelo Marfella, Managing Director of TRRVM and Mahmood Hussain Rasheed, COO of Imdaad.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed on behalf of both parties by Godfried Terberg, CEO of TE and Chairman of Royal Terberg Group and Jamal Abdulla Lootah, Group CEO of Imdaad. The milestone agreement lasts effectively through a four-year period from January 1st 2022 until December 31st 2025.
Terberg has been active in the UAE (and the GCC) for over 20 years, during which time it has supplied Imdaad with more than 100 units of state-of-the-art environmental collection equipment. The new agreement further facilitates innovation and collaboration, all aimed at further strengthening their partnership regionally.
The MoU symbolizes a unified and strategic move by both parties to further collaborate and expand their businesses in the GCC. The memorandum’s contents outline a framework for an Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) for Imdaad’s fleet as well as the ongoing development of new equipment. The agreement will ultimately allow the businesses to better support customers in the GCC region through the effective provision of Terberg’s robust environmental equipment and comprehensive after-sales support.
Godfried Terberg, CEO of TE and Chairman of Royal Terberg Group stated; “Having worked for many years, on many projects, with Imdaad in the region, the MoU is a welcome, and natural, business step that further outlines our commitment as a preferred supplier to Imdaad and their clients. We look forward to a stronger collaboration and closer working , we are confident this will deliver significant benefit to existing and future clients around the GCC”
Commenting on the agreement, Jamal Abdulla Lootah, Group CEO of Imdaad, said “We are pleased to further strengthen Imdaad’s partnership with Terberg through this new Memorandum of Understanding. In alignment with Imdaad’s commitment to continually improve our services, this agreement will allow both of our organizations to further serve customers and communities in a collaborative, efficient manner while achieving new levels of sustainability.”
