Terberg Techniek presents the conversion of a mobile excavator from diesel to electric with a Hydrogen fuel cell

Vehicle modifcation specialist Terberg Techniek proudly presents the conversion of a mobile excavator from diesel to electric, with a Hydrogen fuel cell. After the introduction of the E-PowerPack to drive a concrete mixer and a heavy truck crane, Terberg has now developed a Hydrogen solution, the H2-PowerPack, for construction machines, such as mobile excavators.

A special thank you goes out to customer Scholman, the proud owner of two Liebherr 916 Litronic mobile excavators with Terberg H2-PowerPack, and to Liebherr for their support to make this project a success.

In addition Terberg Techniek is developing a Hydrogen Generator set aimed at construction sites to charge electrical machines, and aimed at truck fleet owners, when the power grid cannot provide sufficient power. This Terberg H2-GenSet is expected to be introduced approx. mid-2023.
