Terberg Environmental strengthens its presence in ASEAN region with the acquisition of Zenith Engineering PTE Ltd, IG Zenith Sdn Bhd and a new industrial site in Singapore.
Royal Terberg Group together with its Terberg Environmental division, world leader in waste collection equipment manufacturing, proudly announce the successful acquisition of its historical partners in Singapore and Malaysia: Zenith Engineering PTE Ltd, a renowned waste management equipment provider based in Singapore, and IG Zenith Sdn Bhd, its production entity based in Malaysia.
These two companies will operate under the brands of Terberg Zenith in Singapore and Terberg Zenith Malaysia in Malaysia.
The acquisition delivers Terberg a trusted sales, after-sales and production team of over 130 valued employees that can be relied upon to further develop its existing customer base in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines and Hong Kong.
With an ambition to grow rapidly its activity in ASEAN region, Terberg is thrilled to announce it has simultaneously invested in a new site in Singapore of approx. 1 hectare, out of which 8000 m2 is comprised of covered buildings where all Singaporean activity of assembly, body mounting and maintenance will be transferred during January 2024. Terberg retains the industrial premises located on a 2 hectares industrial site in Kuala Lumpur, and will thus benefit from unequalled industrial and after-sales footprint in its sector to serve its clients in South East Asia.
An existing, diverse range of products including refuse collection vehicles, waste compactors, dust screws, tankers, sweepers, decontamination equipment, and trailers will be completed by the most advanced technologies with automatic bin lift systems, side loaders, EV chassis, EV bodies, waste weighing systems, remote diagnostics solutions and more.
